Honouring Culture

Honouring every family we serve

We are dedicated to honouring the traditions and cultures of every family who comes to us. Whether your loved one belonged to a First Nation community, the Sikh community, or any faith or tradition, we will walk with you in the way that is right for your family.

This includes transporting your loved one home — wherever home may be.

For more than 40 years, our families have come from many different communities, faiths, and traditions. We consider it a privilege to walk with each family in the way that is right for them.

First Nation Communities

We have the honour of serving many First Nation communities across the Cariboo and Chilcotin. We will follow your family's wishes and your community's traditions, and we will work alongside your elders, leaders, and spiritual caretakers.

Many families ask us to bring their loved one home to their community. We are familiar with these journeys — over the mountains, along the rivers, into the remote places that are home. Whatever the distance, we will get your loved one home.

Sikh Community

We are honoured to serve the Sikh families of our region. Our staff will work with you and your sangat to make sure the traditions of your faith are respected at every step — from the care of your loved one, to cremation, to the gathering of family.

Every Faith, Every Tradition

If your family follows traditions we have not yet listed here, please tell us. We will listen. We will learn. We will follow your lead.

Transportation Home

Wherever home is — a remote village, another province, or another country — we can arrange transportation for your loved one. Please call us and we will explain the steps.
